How Sensory Processing Disorder Plays Out at Home and School – Carol Kranowitz

Some children resist family and school activities or respond in unusual ways to ordinary sensations of touch, movement, sights and sounds.  Due to Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), they don’t behave as we expect – not because they won’t, but because they can’t.  Incorporating knowledge and “In Sync” activities can help children and those working with them to deal with the “out of sync” behaviors.

Audience: anyone working with children/youth –  educators, therapists, counselors, parents, child care providers…..

Carol Kranowitz, author of The-Out-of-Sync Child, The Out-of-Sync Child Has Fun and The Out-of-Sync Child Grows Up and Growing an In-Sync Child.
