Julee Renfroe, B.S.N., RN

Julee graduated from Baylor University’s School of Nursing, launching her career in pediatrics and child development.  Her passion for supporting families grew after her third son’s developmental disorder diagnosis in 1998. This inspired her to create the East Texas Autism Network, which is now known as the AER, Champion’s Autism and Education Resource Program. She is our Child Development Care Coordinator at Champions for Children, offers individual consultations for parents concerned about their child’s development or behavior. Following Julee’s Discovery Class, families may opt to join our AER program where Julee facilitates connections with our provider team to obtain evaluations, leading to a better understanding of their child’s unique needs. Julee understands the positive impact early intervention can have, yet she also knows how challenging it can be to find the right team to support the journey.  Because of this, she’s dedicated to guiding families toward valuable resources and support.
